TARIQ ALI

 

Has worked in the TV industry since the mid-90s in a wide range of roles for numerous broadcasters; in genres including Factual, Arts, Documentary and Sport. Tariq has produced and scripted the opening sequences for major sporting programmes, including the 6 Nations and Heineken Cup and has vast experience of producing and directing short-form VT inserts and long-form content.  As well as working with all mainstream broadcasters, he has worked with many independent production companies such as Sunset & Vine, Film Nova, IMG, Whisper Films and on-screen talent including, Gabby Logan, John Inverdale, Eddie Butler, Jason Mohammad. He has also worked with high profile film actors including Helen Mirren, Rhys Ifans and Matthew Rhys.

 

Tariq has written three screenplays, one of which, ‘Hotel Gitmo’, is currently being produced, and has recently completed his first Stage Play titled ‘Terrorist’.

ALAN GOLDING

 

Alan entered the television industry in 1995 as the originator of the BBC Wales BAFTA nominated Best Light Entertainment programme, Route 96 Moldova (to accompany the Welsh football team's 1996 European qualifying campaign). Having established his first independent company (Tidy Productions), Alan co-produced  'Built to Last: The Story of the Brynmawr Rubber Factory', described by the Chairman of BBC Wales' Board of Governors as ‘ the future of broadcasting in Wales' . Since then, Alan has worked on a range of documentary singles and series covering a broad range of subjects including architecture, agriculture, music, civil war and sport. He co-founded Hoi Polloi Pictures in 2017 as a project-by-project company while continuing to work on a freelance basis.
